U.S. banking and financial services firm Citi has announced organisational changes to its Corporate and Investment Banking franchise in Southeast Asia.

David Biller expands his role to be Head of Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) for ASEAN, including Singapore, in addition to his current role as Head of Diversified Industrials for Asia Pacific.

He will assume the role in Singapore immediately and relocate his family in due course, the bank said in a note seen by finews.asia.

Biller joined Citi in 2000 in the United Kingdom as an Associate in Investment Banking. He relocated to Hong Kong in 2009 and has held several senior positions across the Asia Pacific franchise, most recently as regional Head of Diversified Industrials.

ASEAN CIB country heads will report to Biller, in addition to their current reporting line into Gerry Keefe for Corporate Banking.

The bank also said that Jonathan Quek will take on the additional role of Head of Investment Banking for Singapore, adding to his current role as Co-Head of Real Estate Investment Banking for Asia Pacific.

Quek joined Citi in 2004, and has driven the ASEAN Real Estate franchise since 2011 and Citi's Asia Pacific Real Estate franchise since 2014 acting as trusted adviser to clients in the region.
