UBS reshuffled its marketing units in Switzerland and hired a communications expert to lead the new team in Zurich’s Europaallee.
UBS, Switzerland’s largest lender, merged the Content Marketing and Dialogue units, the company said in a statement today. The new division is based at Zurich’s Europaallee, close to the main station, and has 10 communications experts under contract.
The team is managed by Oliver Vedolin. He worked as a strategy and concept manager at Jung von Matt/Limmat, a Swiss creative agency. Last year, he founded the spin-off Jung von Matt/play, a unit focusing on the concept and production of moving picture content.
UBS Hires Communications Know-How
The expansion of its marketing know-how and the transfer of which within the bank as well as in exchange with its customers will show soon, said Daniel Fischer, head of marketing UBS Switzerland.
Half of the new unit’s staff were hired from outside the bank, UBS said. The team started operating in February.
Interaction With Creative Concepts
The group will work closely with the Creative Concepts & Campaigns unit, managed by Sonja Kingsley-Curry. She’s been with UBS since 2015, after a career at luxury watchmaker IWC, Tschibo and Valora, the kiosk operator in Switzerland. She joined UBS from KSP Krieg Schlupp Partner, where she acted as a strategic adviser.
