Jupiter Asset Management has appointed a former Non Executive Director of the firm as Head of Global Key Clients and Strategic Partners. Will the role have any influence on Jupiter's Asian business?
Matteo Dante Perruccio takes on the newly created role of Head of Global Key Clients and Strategic Partners, following the company’s successful phase of international expansion into both Continental Europe and Asia.
As an Executive Advisor, Perrucio most recently was responsible for establishing Jupiter’s business in Milan, Italy. Previously, he served for eight years as non-executive Director of Jupiter and has 30 years’ experience in the asset management industry.
Perrucio will report into Nick Ring, Jupiter’s Global Head of Distribution, the company said in a press release.
He will be supported by David Conway, Global Sales Director, an experienced international sales and distribution expert who opened Jupiter’s first Asian office in Singapore.
Restructured Sales Team
«Taking responsibility for our biggest clients is a challenging task as their global reach is widespread and complex,» said Ring.
Jupiter restructured its sales team in Asia last year after Conway moved to Jupiter’s London office to take up a senior role within the company’s global financial institutions group (GFIG).
Associate Sales Director Madeline Han took up the senior role in the firm’s Singapore office. Han joined Jupiter from Templeton Asset Management (Singapore) after spending eight years looking after key insurance, consumer bank and global private-bank clients for the company.
The changes followed the appointment of Shirley Chong as Associate Sales Director, based in Hong Kong at the beginning of 2016.
