Swiss private bank EFG International has hired an experienced banker for its investment solutions team. He used to work in the asset management of Credit Suisse.

Harald Reczek (pictured below) has joined EFG International as its new deputy head of investment solutions and global head of distribution.

Reczek is based at EFG's offices in Zurich and reports to Renato Cohn, deputy CEO and head of investment solutions, according to an internal memo sent to staff.

In his new position, Reczek will be responsible for an improvement in the transition mechanism between the bank, relationship managers, and private-banking teams.

He used to work in similar positions and with similar duties for several global banks. He last was deputy head asset management for Switzerland and EMEA at Credit Suisse, the deputy of Michel Degen, head of Europe.

He also has a past as co-CEO of Deutsche Asset Management Switzerland (what today is known as DWS), responsible for a group of European countries as head global client group and member of the Swiss executive board of Deutsche.
