Swiss Re has taken on a new head of trade finance from AIG.
Swiss Re Tuesday announced the appointment of Marilyn Blattner-Hoyle as global head of trade finance at its Global Credit & Surety unit. The appointment will take effect from August 18.
The Credit & Surety unit is part of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions and provides a broad range of credit risk solutions to financial institutions, investors, exporters or multinational corporations, the company said in the press release.
It added that Blattner-Hoyle is a highly regarded leader in the broader Structured Trade Credit and Political Risk market and most recently held the position of Global Head of Trade Finance at a large international insurer. According to her LinkedIn profile, she previously worked for AIG in London.
Blattner-Hoyle will be based in Zurich in her new post, Swiss Re said.
