Former UBS chief financial officer Sarah Youngwood is joining a US exchange operator in the same role.
Sarah Youngwood is joining exchange operator Nasdaq effective December 1 to succeed current CFO Ann Dennison, who will remain through the end of the year, according to a «Reuters» report Wednesday.
Youngwood, who took over the CFO role at UBS on May 1 last year, left the bank earlier this year after it took over Credit Suisse. She was succeeded by Todd Tucker, who was appointed to the role in May.
Move Into Fintech
Before her brief UBS career, Youngwood spent nearly 25 years at JP Morgan, including CFO roles and as head of investor relations, according to her Linkedin profile.
Nasdaq is repositioning itself to become a more influential player in the fintech industry under CEO Adena Friedman. It hired Tal Cohen and Nelson Griggs as presidents to help boost growth with anti-financial crime products, according to the report.
