Hong Kong authorities disclosed the latest number of applications and amount of asset inflows attracted for the city's revamped investment visa scheme.

Hong Kong’s Capital Investment Entrant Scheme (CIES) has attracted 670 applications and more than HK$20 billion ($2.5 billion) so far, said local financial secretary Paul Chan during the «PWMA Wealth Management Summit 2024» on Friday.

The revamped scheme was relaunched in March after being suspended since 2015 with requirements including a minimum of HK$30 million of investments in permissible assets.
