In June, an exceptional selection of historical Watches from the Swiss manufacturer’s archive of IWC Schaffhausen takes pride of place at an exhibition Bangkok, alongside the latest novelties of the 2017 Da Vinci collection.
Swiss luxury watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen invites guests to decode the beauty of time at the Da Vinci watch exhibition located at the Atrium of Siam Paragon in Bangkok, Thailand. The exhibition opens from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, from Tuesday, 6 June 2017 to Sunday, 18 June 2017, according to a statement sent on Friday.
Inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci, scientist and artist of the Renaissance, the Da Vinci reflects his tireless search and ethos for a universal, geometrically measurable principle of beauty in its watch models for ladies with an engraving on the case back as symbolic of this achievement.
Highlight of the Exhibition
In keeping with the inventive tradition of the Da Vinci, the launch of the Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Chronograph and Da Vinci Tourbillon Retrograde embodies IWC’s very own manufacturing expertise.
The highlight of the exhibition is an exceptional selection of historical timepieces brought to the region from IWC’s archives. For the first time in South East Asia, fans of IWC watches have the rare opportunity to admire nine historic timepieces – the Savonnette Lady’s pocket watch from 1914 (pictured above), the Lady’s wristwatch from 1967, the Lady’s wristwatch, 1976, the Da Vinci Line from 1979, the Da Vinci – Lady Chronograph from 1995, the Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Tourbillon Prototype from 1999, the Da Vinci SL-Automatic Prototype from 1998, the Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Rattrapante from 2003 and the Da Vinci Chronograph Edition Laureus Sport for Good Foundation Prototype from 2008.
