Southeast Asia’s hotel market, led by Singapore and Thailand, attracts global investors. In light of this, JLL appoints a new sales executive for Asia.

JLL’s Hotel & Hospitality Group appointed Irina Chadsey as vice president, investment sales, Asia, according to a media release on Monday. Based in Singapore, she will be responsible for hotel sales and advisory in the Southeast Asia hotel market, with an initial focus on the Singapore sector.

Chadsey first joined JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group in March 2016 in Singapore. She returns to JLL after four years at ONE Championship, where she was most recently senior director, brand partnerships, global strategic key accounts.

Chadsey's return to JLL comes as market activity and sentiment are expected to accelerate in 2025. According to JLL analysis, Asia Pacific's hotel investment market is demonstrating exceptional resilience and growth potential, with the firm projecting $12.8 billion in hotel transactions for 2025.

This optimistic forecast is underpinned by several key factors, including the sustained robust performance of the Japanese market and a positive trajectory across the region, with markets like India, South Korea, and Thailand recording substantial annual growth.
