5. Failed to Diversify

The Bezos’ don’t appear to have a central entity like a family office controlling the various strands of their personal wealth, outside of the tech firm, as «The Visual Capitalist» laid out. Bezos is well-known for Blue Origin, which wants to launch a manned crew into space this year.
He also owns the «Washington Post» and has in the past invested in Twitter and «Business Insider». The fact is that the Bezos’ are the world’s wealthiest couple, but much of their wealth remains tied up in Amazon (they hold a 16.3 percent stake). The lack of diversification will be a huge factor in the financial aspects of their divorce.
