Swiss banking giant UBS will partner with international art fair ART SG for the third consecutive year in 2025.

UBS will become the founding and lead partner of ART SG, an international art fair for Singapore and Southeast Asia, for the third consecutive year in 2025, according to a statement.

The program will take place at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, Marina Bay Sands from January 17 to 19 next year with a VIP preview on January 16 January. It will feature 106 galleries from 30 countries and territories.

«[W]e are delighted to provide this important platform to reinforce Singapore’s rising role in engaging art enthusiasts, collectors and the public across the region,» said Jin Yee Young, co-head UBS Global Wealth Management APAC and country head of UBS Singapore. «As part of our commitment to fostering a vibrant art scene, the UBS Art Collection has commissioned Thai artist Mit Jai Inn to create artworks for the UBS Lounge and UBS Art Studio.»

Other Initiatives

In addition to partnering with ART SG, UBS will launch its inaugural «Art for All» community program, a 60-meter tapestry to commemorate Singapore’s 60 years of independence. The tapestry will be displayed at the UBS Art Studio and will be open for public participation during the fair alongside over 80 students and UBS staff volunteers.

UBS will also work with local charity partner Art Outreach to offer art and educational workshops for community beneficiaries over the year. The session will include art workshops, talks with UBS’ arts experts and guided tours of the UBS Art Collection displayed at the bank’s Singapore office at 9 Penang Road.

«UBS has a history of supporting contemporary art and artists, and has one of the most important corporate collections of contemporary art in the world,» Young added.
