Fullerton Fund Management, which is owned by Temasek Holdings, has appointed a Head of Multi-Asset Strategies.
In this new role, Pranay Gupta will be responsible for enhancing and driving Fullerton’s Multi-Asset investment capability. In a press release to finews.asia the company said Gupta will join Fullerton’s Management Committee and report to Chief Executive and Chief Investment Officer, Manraj Sekhon.
Gupta previously led the investment efforts as Chief Investment Officer, Asia at Lombard Odier and at ING Investment Management. He has held senior positions at Société Générale in Hong Kong and J.P. Morgan in Singapore and New York. He is also the author of many papers on Multi-Asset and Multi- Strategy investing, risk management and portfolio construction, and advises the CFA Institute on the curriculum of the CFA Program.
Multi-Asset Expertise
Prior to their establishment, Fullerton’s investment team operated as the internal fund management division within Temasek, managing its capital resources since 1989. Today, their clients include government bodies, large institutions and corporates, as well as key distribution partners.
