The wave of financial firms seeking expansion in the Middle East continues this time with PIMCO opening a new office in Dubai.
PIMCO has opened an office in Dubai, according to a «Bloomberg» report citing the head of the California-based asset manager’s Middle East business Robert English.
«PIMCO has a long-standing history in the Middle East, having managed assets for investors in the region for more than 20 years,» said English, highlighting the firm’s commitment to the region including the growing wealth sector in the UAE.
According to regulatory records, PIMCO secured a license from the Dubai Financial Services Authority on February 12.
