Global asset manager PineBridge Investments has added two senior executives to its Asia institutional business development team.
Maggie Zhao (pictured left) was named managing director, business development, and Leo Li was named vice president, institutional development, according to a statement from the company. Both additions support the firm's efforts to expand its reach in Asia. New York based asset manager PineBridge Investments has about $82.5 billion in total assets under management and manages $43.9 billion for clients in Asia.
Zhao, who started earlier this month, leads a four-person Asia institutional business development team, focusing on China, Hong Kong, Macau and the Philippines. She reports to Rajeev Mittal, Asia CEO. Li, who started last month, reports to Zhao.
Both previously worked at Amundi where Zhao was head of China client coverage and development and Li was vice president, China business development.
