Alongside locations in Beijing, Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo, another opening marks Simon-Kucher’s growing and permanent presence in the Asia Pacific economic area.
Global strategy and marketing consultancy Simon-Kucher & Partners has opened an office in Hong Kong, according to a press release. «We expect a growth spurt in the Asia Pacific region in upcoming years,» states Georg Tacke, CEO of Simon-Kucher.
«Our new Hong Kong office fills a white spot on the map, and we are thinking about further expanding in the region. Shanghai, for example, would be an attractive location,» he adds.
The business in Hong Kong will be headed by Silvio Strubi (pictured left), Partner at Simon-Kucher & Partners. «As the third largest financial center in the world behind London and New York, with almost 160 licensed banks, Hong Kong is one of the most important global hubs in the banking sector,» states Strubi. «This is why during the initial period we will focus on delivering consulting services for banks, mainly international private banks – we already work for several companies in this sector. Others will follow, for example insurance and transport & logistics,» he adds.
