The former consumer banking head at OCBC joins as chief executive officer of Prudential Singapore.
Prudential Singapore names Dennis Tan as its new CEO following his exit from OCBC in November last year where he was subsequently replaced by former Singapore head of branch and premier banking, Sunny Quek.
At Prudential Singapore, Tan is set to succeed 30-year insurance veteran Wilfred Blackburn as the new chief executive, pending regulatory approval. Blackburn, who joined Prudential in 2012, will move to the Hong Kong office as the regional chief executive in insurance growth markets.
Tan joined OCBC in 2009 and rose in ranks to become its head of consumer financial services in 2012. Previously, he had also spent 16 years with Citibank in Singapore where he eld sales and distortion, wealth management and retail banking teams.
