Hong Kong digital bank Mox has hired a former executive from Standard Chartered in Singapore.
Jayant Bhatia joins Mox as a chief product officer, according to a statement, effective July 1 this year.

At the British lender, Bhatia made various payment upgrades including the launch of its domestic real-time peer-to-peer capabilities across geographies, enhanced digital international transfers and creation of new merchant payment options across wallets, contactless and QR payments. He has also led successful payment partnerships with Visa, Mastercard, Apple and Google.
«We welcome [Bhatia] to the Mox family,» said Mox chief executive Deniz Güven. «He brings with him extensive experience in the banking field and I’m confident he’ll take Mox to even greater heights, as we continue to grow and bring more innovative services for our customers in Hong Kong.»
