StanChart Launches Co-Investment Club for UHNWIs
Qualified ultra-rich clients at Standard Chartered will gain deal-by-deal access to private market opportunities under a new offering.
Standard Chartered has launched the Private Markets Co-Investment Club (CIC), according to a statement. This will provide eligible ultra-high net worth clients with exclusive deal-by-deal access to manager-led private market co-investment opportunities globally. The offer will be made available in Singapore, Hong Kong and the UAE with plans to expand to Jersey, UK.
For the inaugural launch of CIC, the bank has entered into an exclusive partnership with private investment house Ardian to provide programmatic access to private equity co-investment opportunities.
«Ultra-high net worth individuals are increasingly looking beyond traditional investment solutions to access the private markets. We are disrupting the industry with the Co-Investment Club to offer our clients differentiated access to high-quality direct investment opportunities that are otherwise not readily available,» said Raymond Ang, global head of private bank and affluent clients.
