A former executive from Bahrain-based Gulf International Bank has joined Synpulse as a new partner to lead its global digital banking practice.
Synpulse appoints Andreas Skopal as a partner, according to a statement, tasked with leading the firm’s global digital banking practice as well as its ‘Business, Innovation & Growth Center’.
Skopal has more than 20 years of experience across consulting and technology in over 30 countries, specializing in digital strategy, customer experience, design, data and analytics, and front-end engineering.
He joins Synpulse from Gulf International Bank where he was last its group chief digital officer. Previously, he was a partner and senior director at two ‘big four’ firms leading digital-related fields across various markets including Southeast Asia, Oceania, Africa, India, and the Middle East.
