The global wealth advisor is strengthening its global investment team with a senior hire in Hong Kong, according to an announcement on Thursday.
Jason Gibbons has joined Leo Wealth as investment director, Asia, a role in which he will be responsible for providing strategic investment advice, portfolio management services and multi-asset class views to the firm’s Asian clients, reporting to Harmen Overdijk, global chief investment officer.
Gibbons, who specializes in asset allocation, alternative investments, and thematic research, joins Leo Wealth from BNY Mellon Wealth Management, where he spent 11 years as client portfolio manager.
Leo Wealth currently oversees around $4.5 billion in client assets, and has a team of 45 wealth management professionals across offices in Hong Kong, New York City, New Jersey and Dallas Fort Worth.
