An asset management veteran in Singapore has joined Franklin Templeton’s global executive committee.
Franklin Templeton has appointed Manraj Sekhon to its global executive committee, according to a statement, based in Singapore. In the expanded role, he will work closely with president & CEO Jenny Johnson, EVP & head of public markets Terrence Murphy other members of the global leadership team to «shape the company's long-term strategy, drive business growth, and oversee key initiatives that align with the firm’s mission and core values».
Manraj has 30 years of investment experience and is currently chief investment officer of Templeton Global Investments and co-CEO of Templeton Asset Management in Singapore.
