The real estate investment manager is boosting its position in Asia Pacific private equity real estate with a new hire in Singapore.
Savills Investment Management has appointed Yo-Hann Tan as managing director, client capital, a role in which he will be responsible for further developing Savills IM’s strategic capital partnerships in key markets including Malaysia, Indonesia and Hong Kong, the firm announced on Thursday.
Tan has extensive experience in international real estate investments, development and finance. He has worked on landmark transactions in Asia and Europe across the debt and equity spectrum. He joins from BNP Paribas Real Estate, where he was formerly CEO of its Hong Kong business, head of APAC, and Singapore Director. He previously held roles including senior positions in private law practice (1997-2006) and with Aareal Bank (2006-2011) in Singapore.
He reports to Michael Flynn, co-head, global client capital.
