The international audit, tax and advisory firm has appointed a new Audit and Assurance Partner, effective 15 November 2021.
Audit and assurance specialist Chin Chee Choon joins Mazars a partner, the firm said in a statement on Friday.
Chin has over 20 years of professional experience, including at a Big 4 firms in Malaysia and Singapore and at U.S. multinationals in the IT and Oil and Gas industries. He also has significant experience in auditing companies listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX) and was involved in a number of IPO projects, with the latest one being a mainboard-listed education services company. He was also involved in internal audit reviews of companies listed on SGX, and has taken on advisory work including fraud investigation, pre-IPO internal control review and review of internal control manuals.
Expanding Business
Chin will «play a key role in growing both Channel 1 and 2 services lines at Mazars in Singapore,» the announcement said, noting the firm's fast-growing client base in the city-state and the region.
