Malaysia’s CIMB has reportedly hired a BNP Paribas banker to join as its M&A head for Southeast Asia.
CIMB has hired Ng Cho Weng as its new head of mergers, acquisitions and sponsors for Southeast Asia, according to a «Bloomberg» report citing unnamed sources, who will start at the Singapore office next month.
Ng joins from BNP Paribas where he spent more than 14 years, most recently as a Singapore-based managing director and Southeast Asia head of general M&A and transactions.
Previously, he also worked at PwC and Ernst & Young.
