The former Asia Pacific head of private markets from UBS has joined alternatives asset manager Blue Owl Capital.
Pak-Seng Lai joined Blue Owl Capital as its head of private wealth distribution in Asia Pacific, according to a report by «Private Equity International».
Lai joins from UBS where he worked for four years, most recently as a managing director and head of private markets for the region. Previously, he had also worked for various private equity firms and related roles in China and Switzerland.
Blue Owl is a global alternatives asset manager with $82.9 billion in assets under management, as of September 30 last year, with a focus on direct lending and capital solutions.
