Two executives at GrabFin, the fintech business of superapp Grab, have quit, Reuters reported, citing unnamed sources.
Chris Yeo, the head of GrabFin’s payments and rewards business, and Jeffrey Goh, the leader of the payments gateway business, have departed, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing unnamed sources. Grab recently rebranded its fintech business as GrabFin. Both Yeo and Goh were managing directors, the report said.
One of the sources told Reuters that many of GrabFin’s business groups were «put on notice» about getting to profitability.
Reuters said Grab declined to comment on the departures and Yeo and Goh didn’t immediately respond to Reuters’ queries. Grab and Yeo did not immediately respond to an emailed request for comment from finews.asia. A contact for Goh could not be located.
