Azimut Group Names Asia Fintech Head

Milan-listed financial group Azimut has appointed a new head of financial technology for Asia.

Azimut Group has appointed Jackson Ng as regional head of fintech, Asia, according to a statement. Based in Singapore, he reports to Giorgio Medda, group CEO and global head of fintech. In his new role, Ng will play a key part in Azimut's digital strategy, digital transformation initiatives and the development of a global fintech platform. The group’s aim is to «create more connected, intelligent, and client-centric financial experiences».

Ng first joined Azimut in 2020 before becoming chief technology officer and chief operating officer in 2023, two roles which he will continue to retain. He also authored a comprehensive white paper outlining the group’s vision, strategy and roadmap for digital transformation, scheduled for publication in the second quarter of 2025.

Azimut is a financial group with capabilities in asset management, wealth management, investment banking and fintech, serving individuals and businesses. It is a public company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, operating in 18 countries globally with a focus on emerging markets.
