ING has announced the appointment of an ex-ANZ executive to lead its wholesale banking unit in Australia.
ING appoints Andrew Hector as head of wholesale banking Australia, according to a statement, effective November 1.
Hector joins from ANZ where he spent the last 13 years in senior leadership roles, most recently as general manager of corporate and institutional banking (property & health). He has more than 30 years of banking experience and previously also worked at Citigroup and Westpac.
As a part of ING’s Australia business, the wholesale banking unit accounts for approximately one-fifth of the overall revenue generated.
