MUFG Appoints APAC Head of Financial Sponsor Coverage
Japan’s MUFG Bank has announced the appointment of an Asia Pacific head of financial sponsor coverage.
MUFG appoints Angus St John as its APAC head of financial sponsor coverage, according to a statement, effective immediately. In the newly created role, St John is based in Sydney and reports to head of global corporate and investment banking for Oceania and Sydney branch co-head Drew Riethmuller.
Prior to joining MUFG, St John was with Commonwealth Bank of Australia as a managing director for investor client management. Previously, he was also an executive director and head of Southeast Asia for JPMorgan Investor Services.
