Troubled Swiss lender Credit Suisse continues to face pressure from all fronts, this time from the reported exit of a handful of private bankers in Hong Kong.

Credit Suisse has lost five private bankers in Hong Kong all due to resignations, according to a «Bloomberg» report citing unnamed sources.

They include managing director and China market leader Luke Chiu, director and team leader Nelson Hui alongside two relationship managers, Hong Kong team director Steven Lau and another two senior private bankers last month.

Credit Suisse continues to face pressures from all fronts, including talent retention worldwide. And in the latest, Credit Suisse’s balance sheet health was in the spotlight after spreads for its credit default swaps spiked as high as 355 basis points earlier this week.
