Credit Suisse has announced the appointment of a head of discretionary portfolio management for its wealth management unit in Australia. 

Credit Suisse names Jasmin Argyrou as head of DPM, wealth management Australia, according to a statement, while retaining her existing role as head of fixed income and economics.  

Argyrou has over 20 years of experience in investment strategy and portfolio management. Prior to joining Credit Suisse three years ago, she was an investment director of fixed income at Aberdeen. Previously, she also worked at BNP Paribas, Schroders and UBS Global Asset Management. 

Within Credit Suisse’s Australian wealth arm, the DPM team was incepted 15 years ago and has since grown its fund under management to A$9 billion ($5.7 billion).
