Sun Life has announced the appointment of a general manager in Hong Kong to oversee the Canadian insurer's agency channels.
Sun Life Hong Kong appoints Eleonore Chow as general manager, agency, according to a statement.
In her new role, Chow will lead Sun Life Hong Kong’s agency channels as well as core distribution functions. She will also cultivate the firm’s agency force of mainland Chinese to help transform its business model.
Chow has nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, most recently as the chief partnership distribution officer at AXA.
«Agency growth is the most fundamental piece in our transformation journey, so [Chow's] deep experience in agency and distribution will be instrumental as we continue to grow our agency force,» said Sun Life Hong Kong chief executive Clement Lam.
