A 33-year OCBC veteran has been appointed as the group’s new chief risk officer.
OCBC Bank appoints Noel Gerald DCruz as group chief risk officer, according to a statement, effective January 1 next year. DCruz succeeds Vincent Choo who will remain with the bank as an adviser.
DCruz will also join as a member of the management committee and management executive committee.
DCruz has spent 33 years with OCBC and currently heads both the group risk portfolio management department as well as the group data management office. He has also been covering for Choo in his absence as the acting chief risk officer over the years. DCruz joined OCBC in 1989 following a stint at the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
