The Swiss bank's Southeast Asian head of merger and acquisitions is said to be leaving the bank.
Lim Zi-Kuan, Credit Suisse’s managing director and head of M&A for Southeast Asia, recently resigned from the bank, as reported by Bloomberg on Tuesday.
Despite the ostensible news citing unnamed sources, a Credit Suisse spokesperson declined to comment or confirm the matter to the news service.
Lim, who is based in Singapore, had worked for more than 20 years at Credit Suisse, according to his LinkedIn profile. The possible departure comes just over two weeks after the Swiss government forced UBS to acquire what had been the country's second-largest bank, which will hold its ostensibly last annual general meeting for shareholders later today.
