OCBC’s private banking arm has hired a 27-year veteran in investment advisory to join its Hong Kong unit, finews.asia has learned.
Chris Tang joins Bank of Singapore as senior investment advisor, according to an internal memo seen by finews.asia. Based in Hong Kong, he reports to Teresa Lee, head of Greater China, Hong Kong branch.
Tang has over 27 years of industry experience, particulary in the ultra-high net worth market in Greater China. He was most recently working at Standard Chartered Bank as head of investment advisory. Previously, he also worked at Barclays Wealth, Credit Suisse and Citi Private Bank.
A spokesperson for the bank confirmed the hire.
