Six bankers of Credit Suisse’s APAC financing group who are based in Singapore, have left the company in recent weeks.
Two managing directors namely Chwee Sing Koo, the head of trading, and Junwei Wu, the head of structuring for Southeast Asia and frontier markets have exited Credit Suisse. They are based in Singapore, as reported by Bloomberg.
The departure is also followed by Yik Ley Chan, director and head of structuring for Vietnam, Thailand, and frontier markets, director Boomish Gopalakrishnan, as well as two vice presidents Javier Lee and Hong-Jie Wong. All of these bankers are from Credit Suisse’s APAC Financing Group which targets ultra-high net worth, entrepreneur, and institutional client segments.
Other Departures
Credit Suisse also sees other departures including Serene Seah, who is now joining OCP Asia as senior portfolio manager, according to her profile on LinkedIn. She was the director, of structured debt investments/private financing and head of trading Southeast Asia at the Swiss bank.
Seah spent seven years at Credit Suisse. She previously worked at Nomura for over six years and spent one year at Citi.
