US insurer Pacific Life Re has announced a promotion to the role of head of South Korea.
Pacific Life Re appoints Yoke Yin Lee as head of South Korea, according to a statement. Lee joined the firm in 2008 and was a key member of the team that established the Korean branch in 2015 before being promoted to head of finance, Asia in 2021.
«[Lee] has demonstrated exceptional leadership and delivered excellent results in her previous roles. We’re confident that she will drive our growth in South Korea and contribute toward our success story in Asia,» said Asia general manager Vasan Errakiah.
Pacific Life Re is a wholly owned subsidiary of California-based Pacific Life. The US insurer works with clients in Asia, Europe, Australia and North America to provide mortality, morbidity, and longevity reinsurance products, funded and capital solutions.
