Singapore-based WRISE has hired a former executive from Bank of Singapore to lead coverage of Japanese clients.
WRISE appoints Shigehiro Suzuki as market head of Japan, according to a statement. Based in Singapore, he will lead a team to provide wealth management services to the firm’s Japanese clients.
Suzuki has over 20 years of experience, most recently as a managing director and team head at Bank of Singapore, where he worked for over eight years. Previously, he also worked at Credit Suisse’s investment banking division and Grant Thornton as a certified public accountant.
WRISE is a wealth management firm with 90 professionals worldwide in its headquarters of Singapore, alongside Hong Kong and the Middle East. It was established in 2022 by Bank of Singapore’s former Hong Kong CEO Derrick Tan.
