A former Credit Suisse private banker and Hong Kong CEO has joined OCBC’s Bank of Singapore.
Bank of Singapore appoints Rickie Chan as head of private banking, Greater China, Hong Kong branch, according to a statement. Based in Hong Kong, Chan reports to CEO Jason Moo and he will also join the bank’s management committee.
Chan has over 26 years of experience in private banking, wealth management and capital markets. He was most recently working at Credit Suisse as the chief executive of its Hong Kong branch and Greater China head of wealth management. Prior to that, he also worked at Barclays and Goldman Sachs.
Regional Vice Chair
Chan succeeds Teresa Lee who will take on a new role as vice chair of Greater China, reporting functionally to Moo. In the role, Lee will work closely with Chan to develop growth strategies for OCBC's private banking arm with a focus on deepening relationships with ultra-high net worth individuals and families.
