Howden Private Wealth has promoted its Asia chief to take on the top job at the high net worth life insurance broker.
Benjamin Cheng has been appointed CEO of Howden Private Wealth (HPW), according to a social media post. In the role, he will guide and lead the firm across its six operating hubs in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, Switzerland and the US.
Cheng has over two decades of insurance experience. He was previously the Hong Kong branch head of International Planning Group (IPG) which merged with Howden to become IPG Howden (later rebranded as HPW), where he was named Hong Kong CEO in 2018 and Asia CEO in 2022. Previously, he also worked at Citibank and Prudential.
