Paris-based BNP Paribas has announced the appointment of a 25-year veteran within its global custodian unit.
BNP Paribas’ Securities Services business has appointed Benoit Uhlen as head of market & financing services for Asia Pacific, according to a statement, based in Hong Kong. In the role, he will be responsible for strengthening the offering including securities lending, foreign exchange services, triparty collateral management and financing.
Uhlen has worked at the global custodian unit for 25 years. He previously held key positions including head of equity finance trading in Paris, global head of business development & solutions as well as global head of relationship management for securities lending, repo, forex and passive currency overlay activities.
