Global consulting firm EY has announced the appointment of a new managing partner for financial services in APAC.
EY has appointed Jonathan Zhao as regional managing partner for its APAC financial services organization (FSO), according to a statement, effective July 1. In the role, he succeeds Gary Hwa.
Zhao has nearly 30 years of experience advising financial institutions on strategies, M&A, business process integration, transformation, risk management and performance improvements. He first joined EY’s Chicago office in 2000 and has been APAC FSO strategy and transactions leader since 2018.
