US-based Citi has named a 20-year veteran as head of corporate banking for Singapore.
Citi has appointed Damien Tan as head of corporate bank for Singapore, according to a statement. He will join as a member of the Singapore management committee and report to K. Balasubramanian, head of corporate bank for Asia South as well as Tibor Pandi, Citi country officer and head of banking for Singapore.
Tan has over 20 years of banking experience and he first began his career at Citi in 2003 as a management associate with the corporate and investment bank. He was most recently head of local corporates for Singapore and was responsible for corporate relationships in the city-state across real estate, aviation, shipping, industrials, healthcare and agribusiness.
