The private banking arm of OCBC has welcomed six new relationship managers in its Dubai office.
Bank of Singapore has hired six new relationship managers in its Dubai office, according to a statement. They include James Bowen, John Gilmour, Bianca Yau, Sanjeev Singh, Chirag Sheth and Rachna Oswal.
Coming from London are 27-year veteran Bowen and Yau from Coutts as well as Gilmour from Barclays Private Bank. Bowen and Gilmour cover the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and non-resident Indian (NRI) segments while Yau will cover Greater China wealth in the UAE. And from the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) are Singh and Sheth from ICICI Bank alongside Oswal from Credit Suisse. They will also cover the GCC and NRI segments.
«The DIFC is a key hub for us and we believe hiring senior bankers who are culturally accretive to us is critical to our future success,» commented Ranjit Khanna, Bank of Singapore’s head of private banking for the Middle East and Europe markets. «These six bankers bring with them seniority and strong knowledge of the segments we are very focused in further developing.»
