Bank of East Asia has named a head of private banking for Hong Kong and Singapore.
Jaye Chiu has been named regional head of private banking at Bank of East Asia (BEA), according to a LinkedIn post. In the role, he will oversee BEA's private banking business in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Chiu has been in Asia's private banking industry for nearly two decades. He was most recently the head of BEA’s investment products and advisory department. Previously, he held other product and portfolio management-related roles at BMO Private Banking, EFG, BNP Paribas, HSBC and UBS.
