Lombard Odier’s Asia Head to Relocate to the UK

Geneva-based Lombard Odier’s regional head for Asia will relocate from Singapore to London.

Vincent Magnenat, Lombard Odier’s limited partner, will relocate from Singapore to London, sources told finews.asia. Magnenat will retain his existing roles as group regional head of Asia and global head of strategic alliances in the new location.

In addition, he will become Lombard Odier Investment Management’s (LOIM) UK CEO, subject to regulatory approval, as well as head of wholesale in the UK, Switzerland and Italy. He was also appointed to LOIM’s executive committee in January this year as head of LOIM Asia.

When contacted, a spokesperson for the bank confirmed the changes.

On March 1, the Swiss private bank’s newly hired Asia regional head for private clients, Omar Shokur, commenced his role. Shokur joins from Indosuez Wealth Management where he was its Asia CEO for five years.
