Geneva-based Pictet has announced the appointment of a new chief executive officer for its Singapore branch, finews.asia has learned.
Alison Lim has been appointed as CEO of Banque Pictet & Cie SA (BPSA) Singapore Branch, according to an internal memo seen by finews.asia, effective 6 January 2025 and subject to regulatory approval. In the role, she will report to Victor Aerni, equity partner and CEO of Pictet Wealth Management Asia.
Lim has over 30 years of experience in the financial sector, most recently as head of Southeast Asia at BNP Paribas Wealth Management. Previously, she also worked at Credit Suisse, UBS and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Predecessor
Lim succeeds Sharon Chou who will retire on 30 June 2025 while ensuring a smooth transition to the new Singapore branch CEO starting in January 2025. Chou has 35 years of industry experience, including 15 years at Pictet in Hong Kong and Singapore.
