The Asia CEO of Credit Agricole’s wealth management arm has resigned after 15 years with the French private bank. A successor will be unveiled soon.
Indosuez Wealth Management’s Asia CEO Omar Shokur has resigned. Shokur has worked at Indosuez Wealth Management for 15 years, including the last five years as its Asia CEO. Prior to that, he held various roles at parent group Credit Agricole including head of commodity derivatives & structured products sales in Switzerland.
When contacted, a spokesperson for the bank confirmed that Shokur would exit in January 2025 to pursue opportunities outside the group.
«In the meantime, Mr. Shokur remains in the position of CEO Asia,» the bank said. «Mr. Shokur’s successor will be announced shortly, and we are committed to ensuring a smooth transition between Mr. Shokur and the new Asia CEO.»
