The investment management arm of Natixis has hired a former Morgan Stanley executive to lead its wealth business across several markets in Asia.
Natixis Investment Managers (IM) has appointed Johan Lim as head of wealth for Hong Kong, Singapore and Southeast Asia, according to a statement. Based in Singapore, he reports to Dora Seow, CEO, Natixis IM Singapore.
In the role, Lim will be responsible for leading the firm’s wealth business in the region while overseeing an existing group of wholesale distribution team members across Hong Kong and Singapore.
Lim has more than 20 years of asset management experience in APAC. He joins from Morgan Stanley Investment Management where he worked for over 16 years, most recently as executive director, international distribution. Prior to that, he spent several years working in investment management teams at banks and asset managers in Malaysia, including CIMB.
