New York-based credit specialist Muzinich & Co. has expanded its financial intermediaries and wealth team in Asia with the hire of a former BlackRock executive in Singapore.
Muzinich & Co. has appointed Pam Hsieh as director - marketing & client relations, according to a statement. In the role, she will focus on developing relationships with financial intermediaries and wealth managers across Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore. Based in Singapore, she will report to Sashi Nambiar, head of financial intermediaries and wealth, Asia.
Hsieh has over 10 years of asset and wealth management experience, including senior positions at Fidelity and BlackRock in Taiwan. She was most recently vice president, wealth at the latter asset manager.
Recent APAC Initiatives
The appointment follows a number of recent initiatives by Muzinich to expand its Asia Pacific business. It announced a partnership with First Bank in December to bring its flagship evergreen parallel lending strategy, MLoan, to the Taiwanese market and another tie-up in September with Hong Kong’s Orion3 to launch an infrastructure and real assets private debt strategy.
